The stars you love to love... the stars you love to hate Jedward to take over the world? X Factor sensations Jedward have told Simon Cowell they want to use their Something About Mary haircuts to help get his US version of the show off to a flying start. Chatting exclusively to Guilty Pleasures while preparing their first assault on the music charts alongside Vanilla Ice the boys told me they dream of more TV stardom. Excitable John Grimes said: Imagine if we were the presenters on the X Factor in America? That would be so much fun. The boys are already building up their Jedward empire with plans for a clothing and hair gel range. Wed love to design real cool clothes; it would be very slick, Jedward style and wed love our own hair products, too, says John. And for their obsessive tween fans, the pair revealed their hearts are already taken... by all their followers. John says he wont date girls because its cheating on their fans. If you think about it, our girlfriends are our fans that come to the shows. It would be weird if a girlfriend came. It would be like dissing your fans as they are all girls. Its cool that we stay single because then they all stand a chance. Meanwhile, the 18-year-olds say old timer Vanilla tried to get the lads to shave squares in to their quiffed dos, similar to his own famous 90s cut. I dont think so, said John. We told him were bringing back the big hair, changing the boring industry and bringing back high tops. Ambitious Edward even promised the biggest and the best stage show tour. We need a real memorable concept and will spend a big budget on it and break even. Warning theyll be no Chico Time one-hit wonders, Edward vowed the boys would make a really big impact on the first tour and then get loads of fans for a good foundation for the long haul.
