The 408kg (900lb) beast can also bee seen looking for lunch on top of a London bus and at 3.7m (12ft) long he is more than capable of reaching it. The liger has a different environ- ment to most wild animals a mock- up of London at his home in Free- style Music Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. So the liger, a cross between a male lion and a tigress, prowls near Tube stations, black cabs and an iconic vintage double decker bus which best shows off his record-breaking size. He is excited by any new environ- ment, said Dr Bhagavan Antle, founder of The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (Ti- gers), which has raised eight-year- old Hercules since birth. This excursion demonstrates the sheer size and power of Hercules as he walks past some of the most rec- ognisable landmarks in the world. Most people are aware in their everyday lives of the size of a double decker bus and they know how large that is. Now they can see that Her- cules is larger than the black cab and can easily stretch his way to the top of a London bus. He said Hercules was happy and healthy and became bright eyed and attentive when exploring the urban environment. People ask me if Hercules is the largest big cat in the world and my response to that is always that he has an entire section in the book of records, added Dr Antle. But Hercules is an exceptional specimen and you just have to look at him and this photo-shoot to appreci- ate his physique. 8 limbs girl now cursed SHE was born with four arms and four legs and worshipped as a deity but now villagers have turned against Lakshmi Tatma, saying she has been stripped of her powers.
