Web 2.0 Suicide Machine offers to remove users from social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace by changing passwords and removing friend links. Earlier this month Facebook blocked Suicide Machine, sending the owners a cease-and- desist notice and threatened to take further action against the site. But its founders rejected claims it was breaking Facebooks terms and conditions and said it does not delete users accounts. Gordan Savecic said: Were not tricking anyone. Anyone who enters their [Facebook] login data with us is quite aware of what they are doing. But Facebook claimed, by collecting the data, it violated its Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. So far, only Facebook has taken a stand against the service which claims nearly 58,000 unfriended friends and 230,000 de-tweeted tweets.
