Bulova paid just $9 for that first TV spot. Bulova was also the first make of watch in space. Slap happy: Sam Stilson and Craig Morrison High-fiving people is normally something you do after a triumphant achievement like remembering to take the recycling out on the right day, not forgetting to feed the fish... or breaking a world record. But for two men, the high-five itself was the achievement as they set a world record for the longest high-five as a tribute to the worlds greatest hand gesture. Wacky record- breaking fans Sam Stilson and Craig Morrison ran more than 3km (two miles) towards each other in Toronto with their hands extended in anticipation of the high-five for the entire journey, as specified by the rules of long- distance high-fiving, according to the Universal Records Database. It turns out that, after running almost a mile with your hand raised, it ends up really cold and really, really sore, the pair revealed. While were not entirely sure that anybody will ever be bothered to break their record, we would be very keen to see any readers with the arm stamina to have a go.
