D Tuesday, January 12, 2010 News Husband denies murder of former Bond girl wife THE husband of an advertising execu- tive and former model yesterday pleaded not guilty to murdering her at their home in Howth a year ago. Eamonn Lillis, 51, is charged with killing Celine Cawley, with whom he has a daughter, in De- cember 2008. The 46-year-old busi- nesswoman, who ran TV commercials company Toytown Films, was found with head injuries on the patio of their Windgate Road home in the north Dublin suburb. The accused answered not guilty to the mur- der charge, ahead of his trial at the new criminal courts com- plex beside Phoenix Park. Judge Paul Carney ordered the trial, expected to take three weeks, to begin today. The court heard the couple (pic- tured), who have a teenage daughter, were well known in advertising circles through Toytown Films, where the de- fendant also worked as a producer. Ms Cawley was also known for a minor role in the 1985 James Bond film A View To A Kill. Paddy Mooney, 58, was shot in his home at Pearse House in Dublins south inner city along with Brendan Molyneaux, aged in his mid-40s, shortly before 7pm on Sunday. Investigators believe Mr Molyneaux was visiting the flat and was the intended target because of his criminal links, while Mr Mooney was an innocent victim. The murders came a day after the body of 29-year-old John Paul Joyce, a major drug- trafficking figure, was found shot dead in a ditch in the north of the city. Four people remain in custody over the double killing and were being questioned at Pearse Street, Harcourt Terrace, Kevin Street and Kilmainham garda stations.
