Mr Berlusconi 73, was hit in the face with a replica of Milans Gothic cathedral following a political rally and suffered a fractured nose and two broken teeth. But the video suggesting the attack was faked points to apparent inconsistencies in the story and raises questions regarding key moments in the aftermath of the attack. TV3 and RT in festive fracas over TV guideBY GRAHAM McODISSON ITS not even Christmas Day yet but TV3 and RT are already hav- ing a row over the remote. The independent broadcaster has issued a legal threat to RT over major errors in its Christmas RT Guide TV listings. TV3 has demanded the State broadcaster recall all copies of the magazine which sells nearly 100,000 copies after it mixed up its St Stephens Day schedule with ITVs, claiming it could have a seri- ous impact on its viewer figures. Bosses at TV3 are also angry at the incorrect listing of Irish film Be- longing To Laura which is to make its world premiere tonight as well as the lack of exposure for its Christ- mas film line-up in the RT Guide. However, RT has insisted the er- rors were not malicious. A Sunday newspaper reported that a legal letter sent to RT said: Our client has suffered and will continue to suffer serious loss and damage. TV3 wants the guide withdrawn and replaced with a corrected ver- sion and also suggests alternatives. Firstly, corrections to be broad- casted on radio and television, in prime time on dates and times to be agreed: the correct TV3 listings for St Stephens Day and the incorrect transmission time and date for Be- longing to Laura, TV3 said. Secondly, a separate advert to run on RT 1 and RT Radio 1 in rela- tion to the Irish TV premiere of Be- longing To Laura. TV3s Maureen Catterson said the matter was being pursued legally: We have no problem with honest mistakes but when its this many at such an important time of year, we need them to be fixed... But Muirne Laffan of RT Pub- lishing said: RT acknowledges the error, which the suppliers have taken responsibility for. She said RT had taken steps to mitigate the errors, but she said TV3s demands were ex- cessive and cannot be met. The cast of Belonging To Laura
