Barbro Holmberg was suffering from stomach pains and was taken by ambu- lance to the same hospital where Woods was treated after his mystery car crash. She was discharged last night and re- turned to the Woods home. Paramedics were called to the house in Florida yesterday morning, hours after Woodss wife, Elin Nordegren, 29, re- portedly walked out on the golfer over allegations of his extra-marital affairs. A hospital spokesman said Mrs Holm- berg, 57, was released 11 hours after she was admitted. Mrs Holmberg is a prominent Swedish politician who arrived in America last week to be with her daughter after revela- tions surrounding Woods private life be- gan to emerge. The emergency call renewed the media frenzy into the domestic drama that has engulfed the 33-year-old since he crashed his car into a tree near his home on No- vember 27. At least eight women have since come forward to claim they have been romantically involved with the bil- lionaire golfer. They include porn actress Holly Sampson, an unnamed British TV presenter and nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel. Some gossip sites have suggested his wife had attacked him with two golf clubs which were found by the car. Police later said Woods was solely responsible and fined him $164 for care- less driving. The father of two later posted a state- ment on his website, apologising for his personal sins and transgressions al- though he stopped short of specifically confessing to affairs. Woods has won 14 golf majors and is believed to be the first sports man to earn $1billion. Blairs Iraq war dossier overstated the threat THE spy chief who helped draw up the dodgy dossier before the Iraq war yesterday distanced himself from Tony Blairs claims in it about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein. Sir John Scarlett said the foreword by the then British prime minister (pictured) overstated the case when it said intelligence had proved beyond doubt that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction which, it turned out, he didnt. I saw the foreword as something quite separate from the dossier, said Sir John, the former chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee. It was overtly a political statement signed by the prime minister. But he told the latest UK inquiry into the Iraq war he did not feel it was his place to change Mr Blairs words, and denied he came under political pressure to firm up the 2002 dossier. Naughty at age ten, dead by 50 YoUNg troublemakers be warned, boys who are naughty at ten are more likely to die before 50. Children who are regularly in trouble at school were six times more likely to die or be disabled by the time they were 48, a study by Cardiff University found. Four hundred boys from the same background in London, were studied between eight and 48. The deaths and disabilities were not caused by drugs or violence, but by heart disease, cancer and illnesses. It indicates things that happen in families between the ages of eight and ten are part of a progression towards dying prematurely, said Prof Jonathan Shepherd. index.html2.html3.html4.html5.html6.html7.html8.html9.html10.html11.html12.html13.html14.html15.html16.html17.html18.html19.html20.html21.html22.html23.html24.html25.html26.html27.html
