But the golf star faces more questions over the state of his marriage after two women claimed to have had affairs with him. Woods, 33, was to blame for the car crash and would be handed a traffic citation for careless driv- ing, police in Florida said. He could be fined up to $164 (110) and have four penalty points put on his driving licence. But questions remain over the circumstances that led to the crash, with claims his enraged wife, Elin, 29, attacked him with a golf club. Two women were also reported to be ready to come forward about his private life. One of them, cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, 24, claimed she had a 31-month affair with father-of- two Woods, who is worth $900million (600m). The golfer was found semi-conscious with cuts to his mouth after Fridays crash, in which his SUV smashed into a tree and a fire hydrant. He has said the accident was his fault and his wife was not to blame. Woods and his wife were reported to have rowed over his alleged relationship with New York night- club hostess Rachel Uchitel, 34. Yesterday, however, she denied having an affair, saying: I do not have sex with celebrities. It says 242 people will be diagnosed by the end of the year, compared with 208 last year, up almost 20 per cent. The rise is blamed mostly on unsafe sex by gay and straight young men. As World Aids Day was marked around the globe yesterday, figures also showed the HIV diagnosis rate more than doubled in Europe since 2000, with 51,600 new cases in 2008.
