Expect plenty of thrills and spills as the heroine investigates the case of an astrophysicist who claims to have received images from space depicting a future disaster. With only 18 hours before the predicted catastrophe, Flint and her team are faced with a race against time. Every second counts: Tamzin Outhwaite is in a race against time Film Of The Day Bird TG4, 9.05pm Clint Eastwood directed this fine, low-key biopic of the legendary saxophonist Charlie Bird Parker, played excellently by Forest Whitaker. His playing style revolutionised jazz, but as with many a musical genius, he struggled with drug addiction from an early age and died before his time. His life plays out like a tragedy, but its enjoyable to just sit back and listen to the music he created.
