D Tuesday, November 24, 2009 METRO 11 Killer takes sex change to court A CONVICTED murderer serving a life sentence has gone to court... to ask for electrolysis treatments as he seeks a taxpayer-funded sex-change operation. Michelle Kosilek, 60, was born as Robert and has been living as a woman in an all-male prison for murdering his wife in 1990. District Judge Mark Wolf ruled in 2002 that Kosilek was entitled to treatment for gender identity disorder, but stopped short of ordering surgery. Kosilek had seven hair-removal treatments, but they were later discontinued. Officials oppose Kosileks request for surgery, saying the sex change would pose security problems. BY ROSS McDONAGH Fired Aoiffe rants: What a bitch, she is horribleAOIFFE Madden has blown her chance of working for Bill Cullen. The eternally stern-faced 25-year- old became the latest contestant to be fired from The Apprentice last night, as arch-rival Geraldine OCallaghan marched on into the final four. Although Aoiffe had performed strongly throughout the series, the strop she threw after being sent home may well have put any other potential employ- ers watching right off. Aoiffes bio in her applica- tion for the competition read: The other candidates should be praying to be on my team. But little did she know new teammate Steve Rayner con- sidered the pairing a punish- ment rather than a reward. And when the two failed to bring any creativity to their presentation of Microsofts video-conferencing tech- nology, it was Aoiffe (pictured) who ended up in the taxi home. I am hugely frustrated to get this far when theres other people still here who dont have as much to give as I have. Geraldine has been hanging in there by the skin of her teeth. I cant fathom why she is still in the competition and it gets my goat I am going before her. Cue the tears and the claws: I hate her she so doesnt deserve to be here. I despise her... f***ing thick. Youve no idea what a bitch that girl is, she is actu- ally horrible. Mairead Fleming, director of Brightwater Recruitment and regular contributor to Youre Fired, thinks Aoiffe was unlucky to go. Aoiffe was good when she had good people around her and was able to play to her strengths. Unfortunately, she didnt have the confidence here and to her own detri- ment, failed to come up with any cre- ative ideas. Ms Fleming said Aoiffes parting rant may have undone all her hard work, saying it was possibly off- putting for a potential employer.
