Golf umbrellas: For everyone Gman, I think you are missing the whole point of the Equality Authoritys action against Portmarnock Golf Club. Women ARE allowed to play at the club, they are just NOT allowed to become full members. And yes, it is perfectly acceptable to have an organisation, like Curves, which specifically caters to the needs of men or women, but Portmarnock is discriminating against the women of the surrounding area by not giving them equal rights with men in the club. I do agree with you though that women should boycott the club. I dont know how any woman in this day and age could allow herself to be treated this way. Lets see how Portmarnock like it when their revenue goes down!
