The actress is promoting her debut novel The Mistress Picture: McVirn Etienne Kate Hudson has denied speculation she is about to wed boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. The Bride Wars star says there is definitely no engagement sparkler on her left ring finger and paparazzi pictures of her hands are to blame for the false rumours. In an interview in Elles December issue, Hudson said: Did you know that it was this ring, on my right hand? she insisted. Why would I even respond? What would I say if youre going to lie about something ridiculous? Kate Hudson has Martine: My sexy romp Mariah Carey was angelic in New York for Halloween, while Katie Price wore a mask and little else in London Claws in for Pussycats Its strictly business for the squabbling Pussycat Dolls from now on, as the girls put personal differences aside in order to make money. In a veiled farewell to dominating lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt said: Nicoles amazing... at what she does. I think the girl is incredibly talented. The Pussycat Dolls as a brand will always continue, not matter what happens. The stars you love to love... the stars you love to hate S hes ruled the soap box, topped the charts and now Martine McCutcheon is back saucier than ever. The former EastEnders star, talking exclusively to Metro, said shes been away from the public eye for a year writing her debut novel The Mistress a sexy tale about a temptress called Mandy. Her mother helped tidy up the text but McCutcheon reveals her celebrity novel is different from the others because it was penned without using ghost writers. The 33-year-old is now pondering what might have been in Hollywood as she eyes up marriage and a family with musician Jack McManus. Unlike other Hollywood stars, McCutcheon said she was dragged down by her home press following the smash hit Love Actually in 2003. I went over to Hollywood after Love Actually and we were actually nervous but excited about what was going to happen out there. I won the MTV Movie Award and it was amazing, she said. But back home, the press were absolutely torturing me, saying: What shes doing at the Oscars? What is she doing, shes ruining everything? But the Americans were really happy with me. McCutcheons big Hollywood shot got shelved after a promising pilot for a TV show on NBC got sidelined along with a string of her other projects. Obviously I wont say what projects but then you see its made with other people, then I go, Oh no! That could have been me! So it was really frustrating, she admitted. Now as she rules herself out of an EastEnders comeback like her good friend Patsy Palmer, Martine is eyeing up a nest for herself with musician Jack McManus. Im really happy, she said. Theres been something about this relationship thats been, just easy... Asked if there would be any mini-Martines around the corner, she mused: I think I would love to have a family one day.
