A design teacher has helped cre- ate an incredible breakfast-making machine set to rival the one made famous by Nick Parks animated characters. Yuri Suzukis device can prepare omelettes, makes freshly-squeezed orange juice, spreads butter and jam on toast and grinds coffee beans for a brew. The 26-year-old from east London, in the UK, said his 1,000 creation, pieced together at a design exhibition in Holland last month, was inspired by Hollywood films. People came and we would task them with coming up with differ- ent bits of it. He added: It is absolutely massive and completely automated. It is 13m (43ft) wide and 3m (10ft) long and in total took 88 hours over 11 days to build. It was an incredible effort. Mr Suzukis creation has now been dismantled but he hopes to exhibit it again.
