Mr Picowers wife discovered the 67-year-olds body at the bottom of the pool at their mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, at the weekend and pulled him out with help from a housekeeper. An autopsy showed he had suffered a heart attack while swimming. Mr Picower had been accused by jilted investors of being the biggest beneficiary of Madoffs schemes. Jerry Reisman, an attorney representing about 26 victims, said Mr Picowers death will make it more difficult for the trustee to recoup some of the money, but added that litigation will continue. The plans for next year were revealed as the Atlanta firm RMS Titanic filed claims in a US court seeking a salvage award and to establish legal guarantees that the ships 5,900 pieces of china, ship fittings and personal belongings, valued at 73million, remain intact as a collection accessible to the public. US judge Rebecca Beach Smith will also consider a competing claim by British man Douglas Faulkner Woolley, who challenges RMS Titanics legal claim to the wreck site. index.html2.html3.html4.html5.html6.html7.html8.html9.html10.html11.html12.html13.html14.html15.html16.html17.html18.html19.html20.html21.html22.html23.html
