Evicted housemates Nirn Kelly, from Cabinteely, Co. Dublin, and Isaac Stout both swore within minutes of each other after being invited to appear on a lunchtime edition of Big Brothers Little Brother despite being warned about language. Presenter George Lamb immediately apologised to viewers after both occasions, as did the contestants, and Channel 4 broadcast a further apology moments later. Broadcast watchdog Ofcom said: Given the action taken by the broadcaster, we consider the matter resolved. Channel 4 said Isaacs use of the F-word in the pre-watershed programme was regrettable. Tilly the Tooth Fairy, dreamt up by Aine Gallagher, will be available in Argos stores in the run-up to Christmas. The youngster, from Dungannon, Co Tyrone, beat 700 other competitors to be crowned winner in the Argos Toy of the Future competition. Tilly the Tooth Fairy, who should be placed under a pillow, comes with a small pouch in which children can place their lost tooth. Aine said: I am really excited about my toy coming to life and love the pouch which will keep the tooth safe. Her mother, Tina, 38, said: We are delighted that Aine has won the competition and cant quite believe her toy will be available for people to buy at Argos. Ian Chaplin, trading manager at Argos UK, said: The doll is a brilliant idea, and Aine has done well to beat the tough competition she faced. The tooth fairy is an important part of the early childhood experience; even grown-ups can remember losing their first tooth and the magic of finding money under their pillow. And from these photos, its easy to see why. The sardine run is rare and unpredictable, involving gan- nets, sharks, dolphins and Brydes whales. It was humbling and moving, says photographer Jason Heller, 35, who captured it in July. It occurs when millions of sardines in the cool waters of Agulhas Bank migrate northward along South Afri- cas east coast.
