Ricardas Dilys, 27, with an address at Davitt Road South in Wexford town, and Ruslanas Mineikis, 25, also with an address in Wexford town, were brought before a special sitting of Wexford district court this evening. Both men, who are originally from Lithuania, have been remanded in custody. The body of 30-year-old Rebecca French was discovered in the boot of the car in Ballindinas on Friday evening. Garda appeal for assault info GARDA in Clontarf are seeking information about a serious assault which took place in Fairview on Saturday night. The incident in which a 22-year-old man was seriously hurt took place opposite Marino Mart at approximately 3.30am. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. The trawler, which had been converted into a pleasure craft, got into difficulty after it left Cork Harbour en route to Baltimore. The alarm was raised at 12.30pm yesterday. The vessel was taking in water and the engine was in difficulty. A number of coastguard, lifeboat and helicopter rescue units were involved in the search. Contact was finally made by mobile with the skipper of the trawler, and both he and his companion made it ashore safely near Garretstown in Kinsale at 1.15pm. Inspector Gary Davey urged the person responsible to either contact him or drop the two-year-old at a hospital. Whoever you are, you might be scared or intimidated by police activity over the past week. Dont be call me. We just want to know where Aisling is, he said. The last person to see Aisling was a nine-year-old child who reported seeing an Asian woman with a dog approach the toddler near her late grandparents home just after 5pm last Monday.
