They had to deal with a terrible tragedy early on in their relationship and never quite recovered from losing Archie, a Coronation Street source said yesterday. Any couple would have struggled to come to terms with losing a baby but I think it hit them particularly hard. They had tried to rebuild their lives but sadly just ended up drifting apart. Lomas has moved out of her Cheshire home but no-one else is believed to be involved. Marsh, who plays single mother Michelle Connor, took two weeks off work following Archies death but revealed in May how returning to the soap helped her come to terms with the loss. You know, its been a long struggle but weve had a lot of support from our family and friends, and everybody at work has been great, she said.
