hope for cash-strapped Pompey CRISIS club Portsmouth could be taken over again after Sulaiman al-Fahim who had promised to inject 50million into the club entered negotiations to sell his majority shareholding. A consortium led by Saudi property tycoon Ali Al-Faraj is set to buy the majority of Al-Fahims stake after reportedly supplying the 5m bridging loan needed to pay wages after some players were not paid last week. After Hassan Yebdas goal saw Pompey beat Wolves 1-0 at Molineux on Saturday for their first points of the season, Al-Fahim said: I think by Monday or Tuesday [Al- Faraj] will be on the board.
