A FILM starring Darth Vader actor David Prowse was raided by the police after reports the set was being used to shoot a porn film. On location in a bungalow in a suburban street, filming was under way for the actors new movie The Kindness Of Strangers. The unassuming location had been chosen to shoot some intense drama scenes from the film, which will be premiered at next years Cannes Film Festival. But when neighbours saw camera and lighting equipment being taken into the bungalow in Newhall, Staffordshire, in the UK, they called the police, suspecting an adult film was being made. A film crew member said: It was hilarious to see a bunch of policemen enter the bungalow expecting to see a porn film carrying on. When they saw two dressed actors talking, they looked quite disappointed. It is hilarious really, the curtain twitchers certainly have a vivid imagination. British actor Prowse is best known for playing Darth Vader in the Star Wars trilogy in the 1970s and 80s. His latest film, an action thriller, has been shot in Paris and Rome and is being directed by British director Deborah Hadfield. One drug/antidote package has just been successfully tested in patients being treated for blood clots at the Duke University Medical Centre in New Carolina. Researchers have shown how the drugs can be manufactured alongside antidotes so that their effects can be instantly reversed if anything goes wrong. We predict this advance will expand the number of diseases that can be treated using antidotes, said the universitys Professor Bruce Sullenger. index.html2.html3.html4.html5.html6.html7.html8.html9.html10.html11.html12.html13.html14.html15.html16.html17.html18.html19.html20.html21.html22.html23.html
