TG4 Sky 1 Sky Sports 1 Trishs French Country Kitchen RT1, 8.30pm Trish takes a break from cooking tonight, for a while at least, and gets a chance to mix her own fragrance in the little Provencal town of Grasse, which proudly proclaims itself the world capital of perfume. After that, she travels down to the Camargue and visits the fabulously beautiful salt pans of Aigues Mortes, where, taking her cue, she bakes a perfectly ripe pineapple in rock salt. Fragrant: Trishs perfume and cooking are not be sniffed at Derren Brown: How To Beat A Casino Channel 4, 9pm Hes predicted the lottery, for himself, and hypnotised us into immobility on our sofas, but now Mr Brown shows us something we really want to know how to beat a casino and walk away with some money. Of course, it will probably be easier said than done for those of us who dont share his talent, so be careful not to get too carried away. The chips are down: Derren Brown takes on a casino Film Of The Day Jerry Maguire Sky 1, 9pm Yes, its been on several times before, but this feel-good drama tinged with comic touches is the best film on offer tonight. The fact that Tom Cruise turns out to be likeable proves that he can at times be a good actor, and he does himself proud in this story of a sports agent who finds the secret to happiness in his own way. Stay with it throughout and, by that scene, hell have you at hello too. Cruise control: Tom puts in a winning performance Friday, October 2, 2009 metrolife 15 Back to nature: Kate Humble returns with a new series of Autumnwatch, BBC2, 9pm
