But ahead of tonights Champions league trip to apoel nicosia, he claims it is business as usual for his side. ancelotti said: We have analysed our mistakes, for sure, but i dont want to spend a lot of time on this match. it was not a good match. tomorrow i want to see a good reaction. i want to see Chelsea play like we have in previous Premier league matches and also as we have in the Champions league. We have done nothing different. Usually we analyse every game together again on a video. thats normal work for the team. Chelsea head to Cyprus with an opening- day victory over Porto under their belt, although apoel earned an impressive point on day one with a goalless draw at atletico Madrid. ancelotti added: there is a good pressure. Were top and we want to maintain that. it wont be an easy game. apoel are a good team and did a very good job in Madrid and could have won there. ashley Cole will have a late fitness test before ancelotti decides whether to start him tonight. Cole was forced out of the 3-1 defeat at Wigan on Saturday with a knee injury and will not be risked if he is not fully fit. if he stays well, hell start, ancelotti said. if there is a risk, well play Yury Zhirkov. SIR Alex Ferguson has joined England coach Fabio Capello in claiming marriage is good for footballers. Capello believes getting hitched has benefited England and Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Ferguson said: Marriage helps footballers. Its good for the stability of a footballer to get married. They settle down. You know where they are. But the debate is bad news for Jonny Evans, whose girlfriend was present at the press conference where the topic arose having just begun a weeks work placement with ITV. The young defender was made to squirm as wedding talk intensified and said: I dont want to talk about it. My girlfriend is sat there in the middle of you all. But United boss Fergie would not let his player off the hook and added: Get him tied down, dear. Rings are cheap now. Get married for Evans sake, urges Ferguson Plenty more to come, says mercurial McCourt Santa over Roque patch MARK hUGhES is confident Roque Santa Cruz can become a legend at Manchester City. The Paraguay striker was one of hughes first big-money signings in the summer but his addition was somewhat overshadowed by more high-profile deals, but hughes said: I know the talent [Roque] has. I know the attributes he has and I know what kind of guy he is. he is ambitious and wants to win. Modric return in October TOTTENHAM boss Harry Redknapp is hopeful of having Croatia playmaker Luka Modric back from his fractured right fibula after the international break. Redknapp said: Hes coming along okay, its a matter of waiting for the bone to heal now. Well see how it goes. We have a break of two weeks coming up after the Bolton game so that could be enough time to get him back playing. PADDy McCOURT says Celtic fans have still to see the best of him, despite scoring two stunning solo goals this week. McCourt has taken full advantage of the lifeline handed to him by manager Tony Mowbray in what has otherwise been 15 months of frustration at Parkhead. McCourt (pictured) proved impossible to contain at Falkirk and St Mirren, yet the ex-Derry City man is adamant there is far more to come from him, saying: Theres no way Im near the finished article. Ill still get fitter and Ill still get better, but at the minute its nice to get a few starts and some goals. arsenal 2 OlympiakOs 0 Arsenal: Mannone, Eboue, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy, Song, Rosicky (Eduardo 66), Fabregas, Diaby (Vela 78), Arshavin, van Persie (Ramsey 85). Van delivers in nick of time for gunners LATE goals from Robin van Per- sie and Andrey Arshavin spared Arsenals blushes after Olympia- kos keeper Antonis Nikopolidis threatened to ruin the Gunners night. The Greek made save after save to deny Tomas Rosicky, Ar- shavin, Cesc Fabregas and van Persie at the Emirates Stadium. And Arsenal, for all their domination, had to wait until the 78th minute for justice to be done as Dutch striker Van Persie stroked home a cross from sub- stitute Eduardo Gunners boss Arsene Wenger brought in Rosicky for Nicklas Bendtner, who was involved in a car crash earlier this week. Without Eduardo, who started on the bench, and Bendtner, the home side lacked a cutting edge up front. And Nikopolidis stood in their way time after time when his defence went missing. Fabregas did manage to beat him but saw a shot come back off the crossbar early on. Arshavin then tested the keeper, who was equal to the Russia playmakers effort. Fabregas was next to be denied and after the break Van Persie and William Gallas were frus- trated yet again by Nikopolidis. Eduardos introduction sparked the Gunners back into life and he took Fabregas pass before set- ting up Van Persie to score the opener. Arshavin then wrapped it up in the final minutes with a cheeky backheel.
