D Friday, September 18, 2009 METRO 3 Ramsay boils over at cooking claims GORDON RAMSAY reacted furiously yesterday after a breakfast TV presenter questioned whether he still cooked. The foul-mouthed chef ranted at the BBCs Bill Turnbull for claiming it was impossible to buy a meal cooked by Ramsay (pictured) himself any more. When you go and spend 500 on an Armani suit and you are happy with it, you dont ask the lady at the desk whether it was Georgio himself who stitched it, said the Hells Kitchen star. I know the confidence I have in my team. In fact, we have been together for over ten years how can you propel talent if you dont expose them? He then turned his attentions to 53-year-old Turnbull. You sound sad. I am 42 years of age. I have been at the stove for 21 years, I want a life outside my kitchen, sorry. Would you like me to polish your shoes Bill, come on, get a life. Ramsay, who has one of his signature restaurants at the Ritz- Carlton hotel in Powerscourt, Co Wicklow, was on the show to promote his new Red Nose Day sauces, with a donation from every jar of Seriously Good sauces going to charity drive Comic Relief. Police quiz Price about celebrity rapist claims Attacked: Katie Price KATIE PRICE spoke to police yesterday over her claims she was raped by a well-known celebrity as speculation over the attackers identity continues to grow. The 31- year-old glamour model was contacted by police but she has not made an official complaint. The talk was not in depth but detectives arranged a full interview with Price in the near future, police said. Officers will be following lines of inquiry into this offence, they added. Just a few days ago, Price insisted she would never ever reveal who her attacker was. But then she subsequently let the name slip during filming of her ITV2 reality show, What Katie Did Next. Claims that she was attacked by a famous celebrity first surfaced in her national magazine column two weeks ago and again in a later interview. She wrote about the incident after newspaper stories appeared about her cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid allegedly filming a sex assault scene for a forthcoming movie. The rape is believed to have taken place several years ago after a party in Londons West End following a series of secret dates between Price and the man. The mother-of- three, who had a recent high- profile divorce from 36-year-old Insania singer Peter Andre, said reporting the matter to police was a hard thing to do. A miniature version of the Tyrannosaurus rex has been unearthed in China which looks every bit like the king of the dino- saurs but 100 times lighter. The dinosaur, named Raptorex kriegsteini, lived 125million years ago 65million years be- fore the larger carnivore evolved. Previously, it had been as- sumed the giant tyrannosaurs had developed an enormous head and pa- thetically tiny forearms purely as a result of growing so big. However, the Raptorex really throws a wrench into this observed pattern, said Stephen Brusatte, from the American Museum of Natural History in NewYork. Much of what we thought we knew about tyrannosaur evolution turns out to be simplistic or out and out wrong. One new specimen can completely change our understanding about the evolution of ancient life. Dr Paul Serano, who lead a team from the University of Chicago in examining the fossils, said: We have a new spe- cies of dinosaur but whats really im- portant about it is that its a blueprint for what it would become in later years. He said the dinosaur bones had been unearthed in Inner Mongolia and se- cretly spirited out of the country. They are to be returned to a museum in the region.
