PROUDLY SUPPORTED BY The stars you love to love... the stars you love to hate Lily blasts Ferrari stars for supporting pirates By Andrei Harmsworth L ily Allen has hit out at Pink Floyds Nick Mason and Ed OBrien of Radiohead for condoning the sharing of music on the internet. The 24-year-old singer launched a rant on her MySpace blog against music piracy yesterday, claiming it was turning the British music industry into nothing but puppets paid for by Simon Cowell, making it harder and harder for new acts to emerge. Allen wrote: I think music piracy is having a dangerous effect on British music but some really rich and successful artists like Nick Mason and Ed OBrien dont seem to think so. OBrien and Mason contributed to a recent newspaper article, urging that commercial and private file-sharing be treated separately and campaigning to find a new approach for individual file-sharers that enables the industry to make money, rather than criminalising fans. Allen continued: These guys from huge bands said file-sharing music is fine. It probably is fine for them. They do sell-out arena tours and have the biggest Ferrari collections in the world. For new talent though, file-sharing is a disaster. Allen originally built up her fan-base by sharing her music on MySpace. Kanye West is taking time out after storming on to the MTV Video Music Awards stage when country singer Taylor Swift won an award. The rapper, appearing on Jay Lenos new show in America, said: I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyse how Im going to make it through the rest of this life, how Im going to improve. West, 32, has apologised twice for hijacking 19-year-old Swifts big moment by grabbing the microphone and declaring that Beyoncs Single Ladies video was one of the best of all time. He has not been able to say sorry to her in person, though. It was rude, period, he added. Remorse: West was close to tears on Jay Lenos new show So cool: Twins Ashley Olsen, left, and Mary-Kate, 23, watch the US Open tennis final in New York, while Vogue editor Anna Wintour, right, ensures her famous bob doesnt block the action Kanye says sorry... again Sherlock Holmes star Jude Law will not face charges after he was accused of assaulting a paparazzo. The 36-year-old was told it was unlikely a court would believe he intended to attack anyone when he left a club in London in July and was impeded by photographers as he tried to get to his car. Sarah Jessica Parker is determined not to let filming Sex And The City 2 get in the way of bringing up her babies. The 44- year-old is so keen to be a hands-on mother to surrogate twins Marion and Tabitha that hubby Matthew Broderick regularly brings them to the film set. The love she feels is beyond glowing, its almost binding, close friend Rob Klein said. I think everyone thinks of Sarah as a career woman, but shes really maternal. Thats her favourite role of all being a mum. Another pal also paid tribute to her juggling act. Shes working insane hours but still tries to do as much as she can herself. index.html2.html3.html4.html5.html6.html7.html8.html9.html10.html11.html12.html13.html14.html15.html16.html17.html18.html19.html20.html21.html22.html23.html
