Speaking on rT radio, Mr McLoone said the current board had strengthened oversight at the agency and introduced prac- tices to prevent a repeat of what had happened before. A report by public spending watchdog the C&AG revealed millions of euro was overspent by Fs bosses on advertising and promotions between 2002 and 2008. Appointed in January 2006, the present board was sched- uled to run until December 2010.
